ESAR / PROSER / Orientame

Fundación ESAR (Education for Reproductive Health) is a non-for-profit organization, founded in 1992 and based in Bogota, Colombia. ESAR is dedicated to the promotion of sexual and reproductive health and rights, with emphasis on the prevention of unwanted pregnancy and its adverse health and social consequences, and does this through the training providers and creation a network of service delivery In Latin America. ESAR’s partner, Proser was founded in 1999 and is a non-for-profit, non-governmental organization with the objective of developing, supporting and promoting all activities which contribute to sexual and reproductive well-being. This project is focused on ESAR Colombia providers, which include 2 clinics in Bogota, (Oriéntame) 1 clinic in Pereira, (Apóyame) and an additional 17 independent provider members throughout the country (Bogota, Medellin, Yopal, Pereira, Quibdo, Neiva, Cucuta, Bucaramanga, Pasto, and Ibague) who have all been trained under the same comprehensive care model. The LNG IUS collaboration between ESAR Colombia and ICA Foundation was started in 2014.
