Mongolian Family Welfare Association MFWA (IPPF)
As part of ICA Foundation’s network partnership with the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), Mongolia’s associate member the Mongolian Family Welfare Association (MFWA) received a donation of 900 LNG IUS starting in 2012. MFWA is a voluntary, non-profit organization working towards reducing the incidence of STIs, unsafe abortion, and unwanted pregnancy among women of Mongolia. The LNG IUS donation is incorporated into family planning services in three clinic service centers and through referrals to local gynecologic practices.
