Caribbean Family Planning Affiliation Ltd
CFPA is an umbrella organization for twelve (12) Family Planning Associations in the Caribbean (English, French and Dutch). Both CFPA and the 12 Family Planning Associations are members of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF). IPPF, CFPA and its members are leading providers of Family Planning and other Sexual and Reproductive Health care services and pro-active advocates for Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights. CFPA shares its office with the Antigua Planned Parenthood Association (APPA). LNG IUS project proposal for the Caribbean Hub was received from CFPA, LNG IUS donation receiving country being Antigua for approved distribution to 5 of CFPA affiliated members, Antigua, Aruba, Curacao, Dominica, and St Lucia. Later also two additional Caribbean members, the Grenada Planned Parenthood Association and the St. Vincent Planned Parenthood Association were included in the Caribbean Hub LNG IUS project.
The partnership with the CFPA began in January 2022, when the first shipment of 350 units of LNG IUS were shipped to Antigua, and since then the Caribbean Hub project has received in total 670 units of LNG IUS from ICA Foundation.
